Reynosa, Tamaulipas. Luego de comunicar que Juan Carlos Zertuche Romero fue nombrado Coordinador Estatal del partido Movimiento Ciudadano, la Regidora Yésica López dijo que buscará la Presidencia del Comité Municipal de ese partido en Reynosa.
En entrevista de banqueta, dijo sentirse satisfecha por el nombramiento de Zertuche y la candidatura a gobernador de Arturo Diez, a quien calificó como “un tipazo, un empresario con mucha experiencia y que viene a poner a Tamaulipas en el lugar que corresponde”.
Dijo que espera que la nueva dirigencia voltee hacia las mujeres para que estas puedan disputar los cargos directivos.
“Voy a levantar la mano para la dirigencia municipal, ya es hora de que el Movimiento Ciudadano y los partidos políticos tomen en cuenta a las mujeres y que salgan dirigentes. Voy a levantar la mano con mucho gusto, el Movimiento Ciudadano es un partido del cual me enorgullece mucho y estamos haciendo grandes pasos. Es hora que también las mujeres sean tomadas en estos espacios,”-apuntó.
Yésica López participó para una diputación local en el 2019 con las siglas del partido de la Revolución Democrática. En 2020 se afilió al Partido Movimiento Ciudadano y éste la postuló para regidora, en la elección municipal de junio de este año.
