La titular de la SST insistió en su llamado a no bajar la guardia ya que la pandemia continúa activa y el riesgo de contagio sigue siendo elevado, por lo que las medidas preventivas como el uso del cubrebocas, la sana distancia y el lavado de manos continúan siendo la forma más efectiva de disminuir casos, complicaciones graves y fallecimientos.
Dijo que con los nuevos diagnósticos, la cifra oficial al 6 de junio de 2021 es de 55,929 positivos, de los cuales 49,617 se han recuperado y 5,181 han perdido la vida.
Molina Gamboa recomendó además mantener el control de enfermedades crónicas por ser un factor de riesgo para complicaciones graves, desinfectar objetos y superficies de uso común, ventilar todas las áreas de la casa y solicitar atención médica ante síntomas de tos, fiebre, dolor u opresión en el pecho, pérdida del sentido del gusto y del olfato o malestar general.
