CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas.- Tamaulipas registró 59 nuevos casos de COVID-19 durante la jornada de este miércoles, señaló la secretaria de Salud, Gloria Molina Gamboa luego de reiterar su llamado a evitar aglomeraciones, limitar el contacto con otras personas y seguir en todo momento las medidas de protección sanitaria.
Confirmó además 13 fallecimientos asociados a complicaciones graves por el virus pidiendo a la población a extremar cuidados con los más vulnerables que son las personas con obesidad, hipertensión, diabetes, enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica (EPOC), asma, enfermedad renal crónica, cáncer, VIH/SIDA y otras.
Molina Gamboa presentó el balance de la pandemia, que al 21 de abril suma 52,505 positivos acumulados, de los cuales 46,736 se han recuperado y 4,879 son fallecimientos.
La titular de la SST advirtió que la emergencia sanitaria continúa así como el riesgo de contagio, por lo que pidió atender en todo momento las medidas preventivas como el uso de cubrebocas en todos los espacios públicos, mantener la sana distancia, lavarse las manos frecuentemente y quedarse en casa el mayor tiempo posible.
