De acuerdo a las medidas sanitarias emitidas por la Comisión Estatal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios, COEPRIS, y la Secretaría de Turismo de Tamaulipas, todos los centros recreativos de la localidad deben hacer uso de las prácticas de prevención de COVID-19.
Las restricciones sanitarias incluyen no introducirse al río Bravo, no permanecer en grupos de más de 6 personas, no practicar deportes que superen esa cantidad de participantes, además de la conocida sana distancia y uso de gel antibacterial.
